Employees are Vietnamese citizens
Employees being Vietnamese citizens are eligible to participate in compulsory social insurance, including:
a) Persons working under indefinite term labor contracts, definite-term labor contracts, seasonal labor contracts or for a certain job with a term of between full 03 months and under 12 months including labor contracts signed between the employer and the legal representative of the person under 15 years old in accordance with the labor law;
b) Persons working under labor contracts with a term of between full 6 months and under months of months;
c) Officials, civil servants and employees;
d) Defense workers, police workers and other workers in weak and weak organizations;

4. Participants in voluntary social insurance are Vietnamese citizens who are fully qualified and have not been specified in Item 15 of this Article.
5. Agencies, organizations and individuals related to social insurance.
Subjects specified in Clauses 1, 2 and 4 This is hereinafter referred to as employees.
The employee is a foreign citizen
Employees who are foreign citizens working in Vietnam with a work permit or a practice certificate or a practice license issued by a competent Vietnamese agency are entitled to participate in compulsory social insurance according to regulations. regulations of the Government.
Other objects
- Employers participating in compulsory social insurance include state agencies, non-business units, people's armed forces units; political organizations, socio-political organizations, socio-political-professional organizations, socio-professional organizations, other social organizations; foreign agencies, organizations and international organizations operating in the Vietnamese territory; enterprises, cooperatives, individual business households, cooperative groups, other organizations and individuals that hire and use labor under labor contracts.
Voluntary social insurance participants are Vietnamese citizens who are full 15 years of age or older and are not the subjects specified in Clause 1 of this Article.
