Over the years, functional units of the Ministry of Public Security and Vietnam Social Security have cooperated regularly, closely and effectively in many fields of work, especially in the field of internal political security protection; preventing and combating crime and law violations; propaganda and popularization of the law; interdisciplinary inspection and examination; building and sharing specialized databases.
Notably, from 2017 to 2021, agencies and units of the two sectors have coordinated interdisciplinary inspection and examination of nearly 6.000 labor-employment units and medical examination and treatment facilities, contributing to proactively prevent, detect and promptly fight and stop law violations, especially acts of fraud and profiteering in the fields of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance.
